X-STUDIO PROJECT

X-Studio was a project developed by Nexx in order to invite some Portuguese artists to explore the helmet XG100 as a white canvas. Open creativity and using art in new ways were the major objectives of the project.

Our approach was to design something fun and exuberant as well as something not usually seen on a helmet. The art presented a symbolic concept rather than having any defined or definite meaning. We painted directly on the helmet with not much of a rehearsal. It was a freestyle run. We named it "Apocalips" to describe the open mouth from where all the graphic chaos comes from.
